Sweet and Spicy Pecans
- 2 cups raw pecans (and/or walnuts)
- 2 TBS honey
- 1 TBS coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt honey and coconut oil in sauce pan over low heat.
- Add salt and spices to the honey/oil mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Pour honey/oil mixture over pecans and stir until nuts are completely coated.
- Pour nut mixture in to a 9x13 baking pan and bake for 15 minutes, stirring mixture every five minutes.
- Let mixture cool completely before serving. Store in air tight container for up to two weeks.
